Supporting girls' education through solar lanterns which allow them to further their studies at night without leaving home.
Challenge:
- Bumpe Chiefdom lacks electric grid.
- Students essentially cannot study privately/at home after dark.
- Girls can’t safely gather for group study in the few lighted locations.
Solution:
- Supply solar charging lanterns to female students.
Impact:
- Provides simple, safe permanent study aid to encourage girls to study and remain in school
