Sanitary pads are not available for girls and women in some countries. Sierra Leone Rising worked closely with The Pad Project and Days for Girls to get all of these pads made.
The girls expressed so much thanks and appreciation! We had challenges trying to bring a good number of them together due to schools being closed right now. Luckily their parents were at a meeting held at the school, and they quickly called their children to receive our life-changing washable pads.
In the video below Hindo Kposowa is showing the girls how to use the reusable sanitary pads.
